Mooting
involves identifying legal issues in a given fact scenario, advancing legal
arguments after extensive research followed by drafting a written submission
and finally representing these arguments in front of eminent judges. Mooting,
in short is the closest a student is to being a lawyer while still in law
school. Mooting helps students grow more comfortable and confident while
arguing in front of judges and honing the essential skills for being an
advocate. Mooting makes one brave and confident personality. The challenge and
the excitement that one experience while mooting cannot be gained in classes.
